Death note if you haven't already seen it. Its fucking amazing. Its about a notebook, and whoevers name you write in it dies. You can also state a type and time of death. Some awesome shit.

- It's a a horror anime about a young boy called Kouichi Sakakibara who transfares to his new school in the Town of Yomiyama and is happily waiting for his first school day after being released from the hospital due a disease. But shortly after being released, he stumbles upon a young, pale girl with an eyepatch walking towards the morque.
Little did Kouichi know, his class was Class 3-3, a class that has been especially close to death for 26 years.
It's best to watch this anime at night when it's really dark and quiet.
Warning though, this anime has awesome but a bit strong gore scenes which might be disturbing to people who aren't used to it.

I kinda know how it ends and a friend of mine suggested not to watch it due to how it ends. I know it's regarded as a really good anime and I've seen the first Ep. Do you think I should still watch it despite knowing the ending will most likely make me want to commit suicide? I don't know how Oni feels about this.

i haven't seen the ending. But is still recommend you watch it because of everything in between. Like. zomg. its so amazing. And the mind fuck it gives you... I guarantee you will be tricked during watching the anime at least like 20 times.
