That's probably true in many cases, but perhaps someone will find it, if not anyting else, as a help if all else fails.

Support Forums had an awesome plugin that allowed members to anonymously post in the emotional support section.

It's true. Generally this stuff isn't discussed, but I think it should be a bit more. People should be nicer and all.

This is a popular thing on many large forums, it just seems weird right now because we're a small community and everyone knows each other.

This. It may have been too soon to implement a thread like this, but it'll eventually become a big help to people.
Even when 143 opened one on HF we had a lot of hate, but it eventually turned into something that was worth it for a lot of members who came to us.
For those of you who claim most people won't open up to strangers, many people actually do.
