Unless someone is doing it excessively or it's reported, it's not worse than LQP. Handling it more on a case-by-case basis. If it's excessive, you'll be warned. RE: Rules Regarding Bumps - Sunglasses Up - 02-09-2024 What do you mean bu bump? Sorry but I am new to here. RE: Rules Regarding Bumps - same - 02-10-2024 I just signed up looking forward RE: Rules Regarding Bumps - Jiggly - 02-10-2024 (02-09-2024, 06:15 PM)Sunglasses Up Wrote: What do you mean bu bump? Sorry but I am new to here. Bumps refer to people who are posting a thread, then comment on their own threads to make the thread appear near the top of recent activity (so that it will be more visible). Usually bumps are messages like "still available" or "bumping thread" and we end up with 7 pages of someone sending the same messages over and over. It doesn't look good, it is spam-like and irritates many of our members, and it's not contributing anything to the site/community. There are good ways to bump threads, e.g. with business/stock updates on market threads, or by providing new information. Alternatively, if you want top visibility, there are ways to pay for advertising (speak to Oni for this). Hope that helps explain! RE: Rules Regarding Bumps - annieochor - 07-24-2024 i just signed up now, The merge wouldn't be useful but limiting bumps is? ok.
