The only thing sadder than your odor is your lack of true friends. If you had one they wouldn't have let you walk out the house without telling you your breath smells like straight ass crack. Lucky for you, you got a friend in me! (pause) Smile

Had this happen with a friend once and unless you're blunt, they probably don't realize. You're doing them a favor.

Definitely. Better to hear it from a friend than someone who'll embarrass them more.

Agreed. Rather hear it from a friend, than coworker/boss. Body odor is natural and easily controlled, so it shouldn't be a touchy subject.

It's odd how embarrassing it is, when it's a simple case of shower, wash clothes, deodorant. Done. There are some people out there with medical conditions but those are the rare ones.

Absolutely.

Some people however, can't be bothered with either or all the above. And then there's those who have BO, no matter how many showers and deodorants they have In place.

Tell them they smell.

If they blow you off or get offended it's on them

If they have self-respect or are self-negligent they still might need some encouragement, they will appreciate it in the long run.

-A former smelly person.

used to work with someone who smelled bad everyday. i just told him directly, the guy acknowledged it but never smelled any better. so results may vary

^ It's the best approach If you know the person well - no offense should be taken between friends/work colleagues.
