Good move on Microsoft to include a headset in there, I'm sure a lot of people were satisfied from that alone. The Xbox One looks pretty generic, but I'm still a fan of sleek and simplistic consoles. Not too big, and not too small.

I'm 16 with no income, so I will not be getting either for a couple of years. What I plan on doing is getting both. I dunno if I'm the only one here who likes having more than one console or not though.

I heard it actually has to be used for the system to operate correctly?

To my understanding and from previous articles, the kinect only needs to be turned on once for verification purposes.
