There was this one time I cut my hand from the space between my index and thumb, about a cm deep, and I've been cautious of knifes objects ever since. But I don't think I have a phobia.

I was watching a documentary on OCD, "Obsessive-compulsive disorder." It sounds like this, to be honest, I don't know though, should definitely get it out if it's affecting you though.
Funfact: When I was younger I used to think OCD meant 'Obsessive Cleaning Disorder".

Hopefully it's nothing serious. Maybe you're just imagining the worst case scenario with that sharp object. Either way, you should definitely rest more and get some exercise. If the fails you should seek some medical help.
