Yup, very annoying. But sometimes you get to hear things what mess up your plans the day before, there's no choice but canceling your plans then.
They should check their agenda or diary or whatever they write their plans in, so they make sure they really have the time for it, because it can be very fustrating most of the time.

Ehh, I don't have many occurrences of this happening. Except little things, like I'm ready to go to the lake with some people, and then tell me they can't do it today. Nothing big, just a bummer, but I'm fairly laid back and let it slide.

When people don't cancel 24 hours or more ahead, it annoys me. If you cancel an hour before, I'm never making plans with you again.
