Much better (apart from the control panel button)..

A 'back' button seems more useful because again I say that because the user will get that page regardless of being logged in or not, that seems pointless having that button there.

This is way too simple and easy to complete to rate.
All I see in this design is:
-Two rectangles with a color overlay & stroke
-Four text objects with the same color & font

All of which are easy to make, you could've done something to make this unique or stand out.
Maybe add some depth to the buttons?
