Soooo yeah, take into consideration forensics, and enjoy the illicit gains while they last.

Thats how I would theoretically shoplift, but overall. Just don't, you're on a social engineering forum, you'll have better luck bullshitting over a phone.

I also then worked in retail, and it was clear that a lot of food would just go down as 'wastage' and would be difficult to track what was stolen and what was lost or not reported as wastage.  So in terms of being caught through tracking items being stolen, that's unlikely.  BUT, you never know when you've been spotted by security, either in person or on CCTV. The one time I did get caught, they had seen me a few times and were waiting for the next visit.

So, stealing a sandwich daily will get you caught eventually, and you'll have no plausible deniability. If you're gonna do it, stick to smaller retail shops without security. Or if they do have security, don't do it in the same place regularly.
