Wow what's bizarre is that they're almost calling that a victory as they told their investors to expect an even larger subscription loss. Although, they mention they're predicting an increase in subscribers again. On the flipside, they've mentioned advertisements are coming in (with some tiers that are ad-free vs the non-ad free tiers that will be cheaper) and they'll be adding fees for sharing. What I'm hearing is, I'm likely to have to pay more for the ad-free service I currently have, with no benefits? That could be a pessimistic assumption, but I really don't see that going down well.
If you're losing subscribers, rinsing the people who stick around for more money isn't exactly going to improve customer retention is it?

Just a matter of time before they corner enough of the market, double the proce of prime, and stop cpending money on good content
