They don't just vary by "one" beat. I know it works for some people, and not for others. Perhaps it's as you said, and that you are just not relaxed enough. I know that when I have a lot of thoughts running in my head, it never works for me. You need to have an empty mind.

Okay, what drug may I use that doesn't give me extreme euphoria and hallucinations so I could have an empty mind? I am always thinking and I always have anxiety.

To be honest, I've only tried a few. But in my experience, Tranquility would work well for you. It starts working fast, and just gives you a sense of general peace.

Tried all, and figured out that inhaling butane is amazing and potentially life threatening.

You would feel "high". You won't forget what you did, or anything like that. The feelings are very difficult to describe. The only way to truly understand is to try it out

You won't feel high, true highs are only obtained through substances.
This is not a high but a different feeling like sedation. Nothing compared to alcohol buzz.
