You router has a built-in firewall. If you have another computer, just enable the firewall and disabled incoming connections from unknown sources or untrusted certificates and then go back onto your RATted PC and download the files in Safe Mode. This will ensure you delete the RAT and could possibly gain information about the way he is connecting if you look at the router firewall logs.
