That's a significant decrease In performance, that would discourage many users. Damn I thought those were pretty essential. I guess if you are careful enough and don't fuck up in the first place those aren't really needed. I need to get into the habit of hardening my windows partition, since right now I am as good as naked. RE: Windows 11 - Your Thoughts? - Accident Man - 10-15-2021 In some aspects it is good (I like the appearance compared to Windows 10), but the fact that it is a functional downgrade just makes things feel cumbersome and vexing. I have better things to do, than losing all sessions due to an update reboot and having to wait for the BS message of "Working on updates 15% complete do not turn off your computer". I apply my own security measures, and my systems have been running at their optimal state for close to 15 years. RE: Windows 11 - Your Thoughts? - mothered - 10-16-2021 After creating a bootable USB stick, I've just finished Installing the official release of Windows 11 on one of my main PCs. I must say, It's a lot better than what I anticipated. It will take a little time to adapt to Its GUI, features and options but so far, so good. My i5 7th gen laptop is not meeting the minimum req for upgrade and that sucks ...
