Looks really cool. Is it like a cheating Device? For pokemon etc..

I have an old M3 DS Simply for my DS lite system. It's basically the same thing as an R4.

Yes and no, these are flash cards, it enables you to download and play ROM files. (Backed-up games). But they also include cheats for games.

I've never used an R4, but I remember using a Pandora to hack my PSP. How expensive is an R4?

RE: R4 Cards - MrTomJN - 09-16-2013

I have an R4, but I upgraded to a DSi, so it doesn't work anymore.

R4s are too mainstream, TT card's all the way!

Personally, I've used the Supercard DSTWO card and it worked awesome on my DSi XL and 3DS.
I'm not sure if they've released an R4 card that works for 3DS games yet - but at least you can play NDS games!

I'm only familiar with acekards. My last nintendo portable was GBA SP, I really miss Ninty's games so I figure I'll grab a 3DS XL soon once I finish college. I'll look this up when I get one, I do hope 3DS games would eventually work (or was it working already? I'm not really updated)

By the way, TT cards also ring a bell to me. I've read it several times on a 3DS/DS thread before.

I have a TTDS card, it's like an R4 but by different people.
It's actually one of the most durable too, I had it for many years and still works perfectly while the other ones broke down fairly quickly.
