It's good background noise even if I'm not really watching everything. You still feel like part of a conversation. However, twitch is a bit like a conversation you can leave and rejoin without it being considered socially "rude" xD

It's a very flexible platform that has is a big crossover between virtual social connections and entertainment.
Yeah exactly, you don't have to watch the entire stream and just pop in-and-out whenever you can. With a podcast for example i generally want follow the conversation more which is kinda distracting

I feel the same with a podcast! I'm forever rewinding them to hear the funny/interesting bit I just missed.

I used to, but eventually, the people I liked were live streaming during times I had other things going on.

We both hold the same stance.

I've never had the slightest Interest.

Initially, it wasn't something I was ever interested in using. Over time I've found its a great place to meet up with people and play games. I don't use it as often anymore, but I still visit occasionally and moderate for my friends.

Good advice you offer to the young generation. I'm currently following four of the exposed ones in your article, and they have great information about living alone and your maturity. Tiktok can be a beneficial place and not just for the people who watch it but also for content makers. It is so easy to grow your account (it is enough to buy some followers from https://famoid.com/buy-tiktok-followers/), and that's the reason why we should filtrate everything we see on this platform.

I simply don't understand it myself. I know why it's popular, but I can't sit there and watch someone else play a game for hours. Even if it was someone I found hilarious, I find it tiresome quickly. Maybe I'm old.

I understand. I feel that the older I got, the less interested I got in watching live streamers on Twitch TV.

It's a shame, I'd like to be excited about it but I can't push myself into it for too long. I suppose though due to being not massively into gaming myself, it's harder to find it motivating. I enjoy people live streaming their hacks or builds, that's always fun.
