It’s very shameful that big brands like Amazon are the ones that have the most retrogressive work culture.

Amazon has and always will be a shitty company, both to work for and to do business with. That's it, that's all you need to know about it. Fuck Amazon and fuck Jeff Bezos. I hope he stepped down because he got cancer. That's what he deserves because his employees kept their mouths shut to protect the Amazon "bottom line" for over a decade and he gave them nothing but lawsuits and ignorance of the problems in his distribution network.

I cant imagine having a job that can say dont come in today cause we arent delivering today and tomorrow, because it snowed. And now you arent getting paid for those 2 days. They close on holidays, and you dont get paid. I have a friend who delivers for them.. They spend 10 million+ plus to fight unions. I just heard this yesterday.

A social engineer's paradise.

Kudos to Bezos for establishing a company that's so vulnerable to manipulation and exploitation.

I highly doubt we will see any changes to workplace conditions. It's strange how common knowledge the poor conditions are for workers, but nobody is holding them accountable. I always assumed these reports were exaggerated, but now I've had friends work for them and I'm discovering it's all true (well, a lot of it is true). I've worked one warehouse job like that, and I can assure you the pay was pretty impressive. I am baffled that Amazon is still getting away with it. A CEO answers to shareholders not to his workforce.
