RE: Foreign language - Lifeh - 09-09-2021 Im trying to learn Turkish because i hope you travel there one day RE: Foreign language - mainglobe12 - 10-23-2021 This is a very entertaining and important thing to do. Personally, to me is indispensable to hear any kind of audiovisual material that you can find. This will help you to acquaint yourself with the pronunciation. It is also very important to be patient and kind to yourself RE: Foreign language - Mr.Kurd - 10-23-2021 I'm right now trying to learn a new language and started it month ago. 10 to 20 minutes a day with Duolingo application. You can't really imagine how good am I now. How many languages do you speak now? People say once you learn three, it becomes much easier to pick up a new language. Do you think that's true? I suspect in the early stages of learning new languages, repetition must be key. And engaging with that language as much as possible. I'd love to learn Japanese one day. I love the sound of the language, and tiny bits I've learned so far. However, it's hardly the most practical language to learn. I speak 5 now, so am five person xD That is true, if you know three especially Arabic and English others will be very easy to go. As both of them provide unlimited resources to learn a new language and you know most of Arabic words had been stolen and used by other languages. Another point you will learn your special method of learning which would be easier to learn a new language. Third, You will find similarity in Vocabulary and Grammer so easy peasy. In early stage, I start with alpahbets, thier pronouciation and writing. Then going with commond words to common sentence. I prefer Duolingo which make this process much easier. For example, "Faloos" and "Masare" (which Is "money"), can be used Interchangeably. I personally prefer the former - Faloos. It really amazes me how many languages have words borrowed from others. English is one that has Dutch/Latin/French words that you can see every day. We also have other words that have arabic routes. I find etymology really interesting, but I'll bet that helps when you find something familiar in another language. I learned some French and Spanish in school. I did it very poorly though, and couldn't hold a conversation in either language. With no intended offense to anyone from France, I really struggled to get along with French as a language. I never wrapped my head around it, and I think I was overall unwilling to learn it. Spanish made a lot more sense to me, and I found the vocabulary and grammar easier to follow. However, the little I had learned has already started to fade. I really ought to learn Spanish, as it's such a useful language where I'm looking to live, and I know more than enough people who could practice speaking it with me. In most Arab countries they are using the old Arabic machine but slightly different. In Egyptians, you can really see the difference clearlly more than in any other countries.(10-24-2021, 08:29 AM)Mr.Kurd Wrote: you know most of Arabic words had been stolen and used by other languages.I find that some Arabic words are used by Egyptians and vice versa. That is really amazing Jiggly. Knowing another languages give you a bigger window, gatway and opportunities to live and find good paid Job. Imagine or compare someone who is illiterate and another one who can RWS English. From this view to knowing more languages. Wish I had time to learn Russian as well. |
