I've removed all apps from my device and obviously haven't Installed any, nor do I perform updates or use Google's services. My navigation Is purely through a private browser & search engine and VPN. That's not to say that my privacy Is Intact, but rather Its exposure Is minimized.

This is dangerous. Now, not only is every device forced to keep records that aren't necessary for operation, but now every android phone has the potential for exploitation of data and exfiltrating someone's personal details without opt-out consent offered by Android (Google). It shouldn't take more than a monkey to realize this is bad. And it could just easily have been stored on a central server owned by the government (also not recommended but HEAVILY secured from unauthorized access). Why we need to have everything immediately available on our devices, I'll never understand. There's simply no need and it creates a larger attack surface, especially when this data MUST be included by added an unverifiable app from a centralized service such as GAPPS.

Whether you like it or not, your secrets are no longer secrets as long as you carry your phone with you everywhere. They snoop on you day and night without your knowledge. Just yesterday, we jad a casual conversation within the family regarding buying the latest samsung mobile. To my surprise, I started receiving advertisements and offers from all over on Samsung mobile in my smartphone. Inadvertently, we ourselves have given right to google to snoop on us. So only way out now is to remove the application. But how many will do it?
