It's been really slow and a lot of people don't even know how to get one, with insurance or medicaid. I've just gotta wait for mine. Hopefully soon.

Oh, it has to go through insurance stuff? That sounds super messy to deal with. I will say, I'm grateful for the NHS right now, flaws and all.

Unfortunately, yes, and Medicaid is stupid slow to push it, if at all. No businesses actually require it, as of yet.

When you say businesses, do you mean people aren't requiring it for workers to go back to work? Or do you mean for venues etc, like pubs and bars that could ask for it to be allowed entry?

Ours are mostly "negative test and/or vaccine" for venues. Workers it's just, get the vaccine when you're offered it. We've had a couple hiccups

Persons who have recovered from Covid is advised to take vaccine after 3 months of recovery as they would still be protected due to antibodies in them. For others vaccine is the only protection against getting infected severely. Scientists are now advising about the possibility of giving a booster dose to persons with complete vaccination within a year for better and continued protection. Nothing is still very clear for layman who just rely on the information given by the medical fraternity and government.

It should be noted that effectiveness after one dose is quite reduced, so it's very important that people get fully vaccinated.
