On the contrary, they provide multiple examples for points of entry. Whether it's a physical console, poorly protected network, unencrypted traffic, or a Masterlock. the billboard i wanted to hack doesnt really have any wifi network so im not even sure how to do that one/

Is there perhaps a physical console? Aftar all, they interface with it somehow.

Note that capturing the handshake requires a device connected to the network that you can intercept the connection from. In the case of the billboard it might not have any devices connected to the wifi, and instead the control systems most likely run over ethernet.
