Yeah, that's true, I really like K-Drama, haven't watched several ones recently though. But I had a dog (passed away now), who was named after a character from a k-drama.

Haven't really listened to k-pop to have an informed opinion of it. Sometimes there is a good song, but i'm not really interested in the genre itself to be honest.
I only know of BTS cause of the Mcdonald meal that apparently is very popular

Meh. The fandom is lamentable. The business treats their idol groups deplorably, but props to the singers who make it on their own without succumbing to stringent diets, be coerced to wear, act, etc. a certain way by companies, etc.
