There certainly Is money to be made.

I've sold a few premium domains that I purchased at the regular cost, namely those that have expired due to the owner not renewing the domain.

When all the new TLDs came out, I'm sure many got rich overnight. It's very lucrative to businesses/influencers.

I clearly remember when the TLDs were launched, and I'm regretting I didn't make bulk purchases on those that were sought-after.

Nonetheless, I currently have around 10 premium domains with a value between $1,100-$2,000. That's If anyone Is willing to pay the ridiculous amount.

Have you had any luck selling domains at all? I've been tempted to get some domain hacks/short domains and shit, but not sure if they ever sell.

I've only sold one at a decent price.

They're quite difficult to sell as per the registrar's appraisal list, which Is usually overpriced. You've got nothing to lose by putting a domain up for sale, but may need to lower the price If It doesn't attract buyers.

I've bought a couple niche domains that I'm going to sit on in case the project it relates to takes off. I've also got xbox.monster although I'm not sure if that's worth anything lol.

According to the appraisal, It's worth a lot more than what you paid but as we both know, It's not entirely accurate.

That's a very reasonable price that will attract attention.

As said, you've got nothing to lose by advertising It with your domain registrar, and everything to gain- should It sell at the advertised price.

It doesn't take long for people to purchase premium expired domains.

One time I was at work when I noticed one domain had expired, and was planning to purchase It on my arrival home In 2 hours time. It was already taken within the hour.
