I wish I could say the same. We're back in a full lockdown and I've finally had to file for unemployment. Gutted. I've got a roof over my head and food in my belly. It could always be worse. I'm really glad to hear things are looking better where you are. RE: Europe into another lockdown - Redy321 - 12-01-2020 I think need to do this one time for every country and for a long time for the best result. RE: Europe into another lockdown - KingC33 - 12-03-2020 I fear the UK could very likely see another lockdown due to our very weak enforcements of the previous ones we have had. Christmas and new years eve parties will inevitably happen, thus it will be very interesting to see the level of cases in the first couple of weeks in January. I do feel like enforcement has been an issue. Even at places like supermarkets. It's frustrating to go to the store, and have several people brush up against me. I lost my job because people like that couldn't think of someone else. If states followed through and enforced a 2-4 week lockdown (don't leave the house, get groceries delivered), we wouldn't be here this many months later. The stimulus payments would have covered 2-4 weeks of groceries, but not 10 months. |
