What are your thoughts on things like this? To answer your question, I personally don't believe in anything due to me having to follow imaginary "rules/morals" given to me by a non-existant being. If my time comes and I actually meet this creature, I'll repent against my sins as he's essentially a "forgiver." He was also created by people just as every other "dead" religion or "living" one, so there is bound to be mistakes. What are your thoughts on things like this? Because that's silly. I don't believe in god just like I don't believe in unicorns or fire-breathing walruses. I do feel there is a force behind our existence, and that force exists throughout the universe and in nature. It is NOT a God, with a purpose for humanity or morals. It just allows us to exist, it has no thought. That is my 'God' and there is no need to pray to it. Just respect it, and try to figure out as much as you can. Ultimately, it's based on science and fact. That's the first time I've ever heard of this belief. I'll have to do some research on it in my spare time. What are your thoughts on things like this? Not to contradict myself here, but in this case would you not believe in Extra Terrestrials? There is no proof that they actually exist, so they'd be similar to unicorns or fire-breathing walruses. In essence, they're just as unproven as god except through media and movies and whatnot, the possible existence of aliens has been embedded into our society, as far-fetched as the idea actually is. Even my wife calls me a paleontologist.
RE: Why do you believe in "God" or a god/goddess? - Dean Winchester - 05-13-2013 Well, I have a lot of faith in the divine. It's not like I'm religious but one should believe in scriptures. RE: Why do you believe in "God" or a god/goddess? - SeXy - 05-13-2013 i think that god is something unique that you can believe it with many ways RE: Why do you believe in "God" or a god/goddess? - Mafia - 05-13-2013 I don't believe in "God" I think there is just a "Server" controlling us (If you get what I mean) RE: Why do you believe in "God" or a god/goddess? - LessThan3 - 05-13-2013 I am 100% atheist. I just was never brought up to believe in anything and I personally dont see logic in one existing. However i respect people who do believe as long as they dont try and push me into believing. |
