I quite enjoyed the show, especially as it's set as if it was happening right now. The likelihood, is that we wont see a manned mission to Mars for many years yet (unless Elon Musk gets his way).

If you were able to be trained and prepared, would you want to do a three year trip to Mars, and be one of the first there, with all the risks and fame that would bring?

I feel much the same way. It's an enjoyable show though. Not quite what I was expecting, but it's very much about what it's like to leave people behind, and the bravery of those both travelling, and those that support them back on Earth.

I'm watching episode 4 at this point and I like it. Besides all the trashy shows out there, this is a good one.
