I just arrived here so I'm not qualified enough to answer properly to your original question(s), but I'd say most tools you find publicly & freely are outdated. I guess lots of them should still work but they certainly are detected by most antivirus softwares, or even natively.
For example on the second pdf you can see a list of antivirus, knowing the document is 3 years old I bet there are even more now. I'll probably do more tests soon though !
And I think (but someone will correct me if I'm wrong) that with a good new crypter (so.... not free) you could make almost any working tool invisible to antivirus and windows defender.
EDIT : But... It was the same in 2005, wasn't it ? I remember it was the same kind of dilemma (except you couldn't find non-free ones as easily as now I guess), public tools were always a bit outdated

Very true that has always been the case with cracked warez version being a bit older than it's current.And a current paid crypter perhaps fud.Alot of offshoot varients I'm finding such as a recent diamondfox called link.I imagine these are modified version of past freely available versions being resold.Legit maybe or not.I will mess about with what we have here and see how far I can go without error.If I get on with it I will post result.
Would still like to hear any members input whom have actually setup and gave this version ? A whirl.
Or any recent leaks/cracked versions.Mention which version as well

Well i've read multiple places that you can't even make a build with the cracked builders, also the version here is a leak from 2015 i think, plus the botnet is pretty amateurish. For learning it's good but don't try to actually use this
The author is still updating it and releasing new versions though

That is what I suspected.Anything can be learned but time is the price for most of us learning and it's flying by too quuck.
2006 I by strange circumstances got out of the current then botnet/MW scene and got into producing electronic music.Got signed some labels and nice peice in a greek electronic music mag.. magazines were a big deal then.
But we could never afford the warez then and 80% what used was cracked by many groups.One group I remember was AIR.
That being said shit still worked..we even had systems to score cracked version so the then community's did not waste time with junks.
What is your opinion about these new leaks?

So there are those who are broke and if had the cash would by a new private setup but are resorting to hopeful builds to try to make something from these leaks we have posted everywhere.
Today I'm left with 2 capable servers .plenty bandwith laptops bandwith and time.
This morning I wake up to have a panel holder tell me he is closing the panel down and text me back a frog meme as response lol.wtf.I lost a $4000 reseller plan which I got to use 3 days because a month ago the stresser DB been hacked blah.blah.Really the guys were in over head and too incompetent for the task and monster they grew.Either way my money's are gone for a little while.
So this leaves me to finding something that works.
That's my rant and vent for the day so sorry about that
