RE: ps5 worth buying over pc? - Oni - 07-28-2020 I've owned several Sony consoles over the years and they're great, but you're limited by the games Sony has available. With a computer, you have access to more titles, and also the flexibility of upgrading or replacing parts when they break. If you don't have a computer, I would highly recommend building one. Pre-assembled machines and gaming consoles are great, but they're expensive. There's no sense in limiting yourself when you can have so much more. The PS5 will likely be around $500, so for many it's a budget option. A computer can be built for much less, though it may not be capable of running games in 8K. I think that's why some people buy both systems RE: ps5 worth buying over pc? - Yesjj - 10-02-2020 I will take ps5 side for exclusives only not for any thing else RE: ps5 worth buying over pc? - Mr.Hollow - 11-04-2020 PC all the way if you especially do any other work besides gaming. That's why it's the most convenient alternative. For PS you also need a good TV to enjoy it's capabilities. Those money can be invested into a good PC that does more than gaming. However, you don't really need to purchase them straight away. I saw a ps4 in perfect condition selling for about 160 British Pounds. The depreciation is unreal, but great if you're on a budget. Also, consoles can be handy in a house where you don't have room or a desk for a PC. There are plenty of reasons to buy consoles, but if you are able to invest in a PC, I'd argue that is the better choice. RE: ps5 worth buying over pc? - jjj1888 - 11-19-2020 Probably not, PC will always be ahead and can upgrade RE: ps5 worth buying over pc? - Sawsds - 01-01-2021 PC if you’re planning to upgrade your setup and you do not have a particularly good workstation now, or else consoles if you’re sole purpose is gaming . Might be harder to get a 3080 or 5950X, but I'd 100% recommend PC right now. RE: ps5 worth buying over pc? - Xeleon - 01-02-2021 I'd call for the PS5. Thing is everyone plays on same hardware. No FPS advantages etc. etc. That is if you're playing competitive COD:Warzone or Rainbow Six etc. something like that. RE: ps5 worth buying over pc? - Reddog420 - 01-31-2021 Pc is the way to go, for the price you can get a starter pc for just a few $100 more and its better for eveyrhting all round |
