If you have the money to spend for a gaming laptop, by all means make the purchase- you won't regret It.

Here's the benchmark results of my gaming laptop.

Absolutely. It just depends on how much you want to spend.

Although not a gaming laptop, a unit like this Is only 1.6cm thick. Or the ASUS ROG Zephyrus S GX701 gaming lappy at 1.8cm thick.

Look into touchscreen laptops too. Once you use them you really get used to the interface.

i need some combination with that price.

amd cores are better or intel core ?
Don't buy a laptop for the RGBs lmao. They don't affect performance. I'd suggest not buying laptops that have nvidia max-q design graphic cards which have worse performance than the actual card if you bought it for a PC -- however you'll only get this on thin gaming laptops.

Also, to answer the AMD/Intel question; it really depends. You can benchmark your CPUs by this site and comparing your CPUs: http://userbenchmark.com/

If you're looking for a workstation laptop with a touch of gaming you could go for MSI. I have a MSI GF63-8RD and it works great. I use it to work a lot with some gaming.

Actually, in the past year/few months; AMD has been beating Intel by a lot. I have a i7 Intel CPU atm and would swap to an AMD CPU if I could. AMD has way better pricing and performance (compared to pricing) as of late. You can buy AMD CPUs that are half the price of a Intel CPU which have roughly the same performance. However, this is me just rambling; it honestly won't have such a big difference if you buy a gaming laptop.

So too Is the cost.

It Is a very decent laptop. The only drawback Is the 16GB of Ram. For that price, I'd expect 32GB at the minimum.

I have the razer blade and I love the way it's made to be strong but also light, the downside is that everytime I put it to sleep and put it in my backpack it wakes itself up after a while so I have yet to figure out why, I would recommend an XPS or a razer if you don't like big bulky looking laptops.

Dude, we do not know the purposes that you will be using this laptop for, which is a really important part. Do the performance level have any importance for you, or it doesn't. And it actually matters a lot, if you will be gaming or just programming or doing both of them.
yea he didn't state the purpose, for programming (70%) and gaming(30%) i recommend i7 9th with at least rtx 1050ti. if you buy 8Gb ram you can add another 8 Gb in few minutes.

That's provided the MOBO accommodates It.

16 GB Is the minimum nowadays.

yes, thats why i told him if you only find 8Gb you can add another one yourself doesn't need to buy it 16 from the first purchase because can be more expensive.
