So it has! Thank you! I've updated the video with a full length version. Shows the person holding the camera going and talking to the guy outside the restaurant. RE: Canadian Police Take Down Woman in Cosplay - Oni - 05-13-2020 Shame. Looked like they were trying to do something awesome for their restaurant. Unsure of laws in Canada, but an obviously plastic gun is allowed here. RE: Canadian Police Take Down Woman in Cosplay - Hoshs - 05-13-2020 Bro, what the hell is a girl in a Storm Trooper outfit gonna do. RE: Canadian Police Take Down Woman in Cosplay - Parliament - 05-14-2020 This type of shit is mad. She dropped the gun but they didn't stop the hostility even though it was pretty clear it was a toy gun and she worked for the store. You hate to see it. RE: Canadian Police Take Down Woman in Cosplay - miso - 05-14-2020 the only actual thing that i can come up would i guess make sence is if she had like a lazer at then end, but still, most countries have strict laws/regulations about lazers in objects, if the toy had a lazer, it woudnt do anything to anyone anyway, that kind of behaviour from the police is unacceptable and they should atleast have gotten a warning for how they poorly treated that women RE: Canadian Police Take Down Woman in Cosplay - mothered - 05-14-2020 (05-14-2020, 06:48 AM)miso Wrote: the only actual thing that i can come up would i guess make sence is if she had like a lazer at then end, but still, most countries have strict laws/regulations about lazers in objectsI can certainly see your point here and from a law enforcement standpoint, the police do have a duty to protect citizens. I just think the situation could've been evaluated and handled a lot better. Police action was extreme and under the circumstances, unnecessary In the manner of which they'd applied themselves. I wholeheartedly agree. Of course they have to respond to the two 911 calls with caution. But once you've established the weapon is a toy, is it really necessary to force somebody in full costume to the ground? There's protocol, then there's use of actual brain cells. |
