Personally, I prefer my sensitive data stored within the confines of my own home- multiple external SSDs. Of course, It's encrypted with (triple-layer) AES Twofish Serpent.

Revisiting this. I'd recommend getting a dedicated server, since you can use it for more than just backups. Unless you're storing something sensitive, servers are much cheaper than they used to be.
