Exactly. But if this forum gets a lot bigger it will be annoying.
Not necessarily. I think it'll be helpful, unless you have like 50 posts a day average on threads that are popular.

IMO, Alerts are quite a decent plugin simply because it's actually helping you recognize stuff faster. And also it becomes extremely useful in big ass communities.

Yes, but they can also get very annoying if you post every where and then later you have around 50 alerts
