It looks like the error only happens when your browser data is cleared.
But if you open a image in a new tab they all load fine unless you clear your data again.

This seems to be serversided, maybe even in the server program itself, that isn't sending images through correctly. It could also be a problem with mybb or an addon. I won't be clearing my data so I can find out exactly what is meant by icons, though.

Right click a broken image, open it in a new tab, then refresh.

All you have to do is just click one image, and then it will work.

The trick didn't work on the built in browser on my android, but it worked with the mobile Chrome.

It was automatically fixed on my phone, that's weird.
