I've mentioned to him a few times that just posting a link to somebody else's tutorial/release without adding anything of value to the post is pretty crummy but he doesn't stop. Probably just trying to accumulate as much NSP as possible. But some people do not want to search it on their own. I mean they get lazy. I think hes just a kid trying to achieve or show up something, he lacks so much of understanding... like when he says asking for virustotal scan for source code is a rule. still a pain in the butt. but I also do believe the admins should be the ones to regulate this behavior. I saw some of them saying it's not against the rules.... oh well

"You should also post a virus-scan for any files you upload or link to. "Only files that do not need one is combo lists. if it is a source code right they should use this. (code /code) RE: john the ripper tutorial - Nyx - 04-27-2019 (04-27-2019, 10:26 PM)darkninja1980 Wrote:(04-27-2019, 10:17 PM)Nyx Wrote:(04-27-2019, 08:50 PM)darkninja1980 Wrote: all this thread is for people can look at the link that I provided. Sinisterly isn't a search engine though, it isn't supposed to have every answer to every random little question (like random Xbox repair guides, how is that needed on the forum at all?). Search engines are meant to have answers on demand but a forum is intended for discussion and you making a thread that is literally just a link doesn't promote discussion at all. We established this last time I complained about your tutorial threads: you are totally, 100%, affirmatively correct that you are within the bounds of the rules, however that doesn't make it any less annoying when you make a thread that is literally just a link. If I want to get nitpicky though you did gravedig this thread twice a month apart for absolutely no apparent reason which is technically breaking the rules. I never said that SL is a search engine. well, it is needed if someone did ask how to fix their console. but I am the op of this thread I am keeping it active. But some people do not want to search it on their own. I mean they get lazy. You never said it is, but you treat it as if it is. It seems like the second you find a tutorial somewhere on the internet you make a thread and link it. Sinisterly doesn't need to see every single obscure little tutorial that you find. If you actually made tutorials this wouldn't be an issue, but you don't make tutorials. You post links. That is literally all you do. I'm sure 95% of the 'tutorials' you post you have no expertise on whatsoever and you pass on other people's knowledge as your own to seem more intelligent. And congrats I never told you to close the thread. Do whatever you want. |
