I managed to secure a senior VP position at a relatively known company. Honestly got pretty lucky with a series of certain events but won’t deny that I worked my ass off.

Access management and security. Mainly managing access to applications, either manually in-application or via Active Directory groups. It shouldn't be difficult, but there's a lot of bureaucratic bullshit that makes it non-trivial. It feels more like a political job than an IT one, most days
