im pretty over kali at this point. backbox seems so much smoother and the PTF covers any missing tools i commonly use. Either this or BlackArch if you have the time to really learn how to use linux

Interesting enough you ask, I would have to say Mint Linux for the beautiful, classic aesthetics.
But if not Mint Linux I'd have to say Gnome 2 / Ubuntu Mate

My favorite OS is probably Gentoo GNU/Linux.
I know it's sort of a meme distro but it runs extremely fast (being source-based and using a manually configured and compiled kernel) and being able to configure absolutely everything makes me really happy in an autistic sort of way.
Been using it as my daily driver for 8 months now, and it has basically everything I need for development as well as entertainment.
As a side benefit it helped me kill the obsessive gaming habit.

Windows 10 is my favorite, I just wish it had the privacy of Linux. I'd make the switch to Linux if it had the capability to run all the video games I want to play.
