Holy crap, you have a 7+ year old computer? I can't even handle my computer for less than three years without something inexplicable happening to it, like a drunkard throwing up into it, or a little cousin who thinks it's a pinata.

My desktop has 6 GB, this laptop has 4 GB, and my netbook/tablet thing has 2 GB.
