I think its the future of social media. Has the least censorship imo. Instagram has comment threads referencing controversial posts, and when you go look at the post it doesn't exist...

Actually is shit. The same stuff appears again and again in your timeline. The replies are a bunch of unrelated posts or spam. But there's probably nothing in sight to substitute X

Right now X has reached #1 in the app store in the news section, surpassing NYT and WSJ. I'm on that shit religiously (mostly for crypto)
