I find that Windows XP/7 is more of a common-user operating system. I find myself to the liking of a clean FreeBSD system. FreeBSD is very secure, and you can do literally anything with it. Windows, eh, not so much. RE: Favorite Operating System - Losi - 08-27-2014 (08-27-2014, 04:30 AM)Critical Wrote: I find that Windows XP/7 is more of a common-user operating system. But does it have full steam game support? RE: Favorite Operating System - Critical - 08-27-2014 (08-27-2014, 04:36 AM)Losi Wrote: But does it have full steam game support? I think steam would have to have a general Linux support. If they did, then I'm sure you could compile a few things and get it working correctly. Most games have a specific set of platforms that they can run on (which I'm sure you're aware of). There is no doubt that you could write your own emulator though. But since since both Linux and BSD are posix compliant I guess the main issue is updating libraries and drivers, I know that they have Nvidia drivers. RE: Favorite Operating System - Equinox - 08-27-2014 Linux master race. Specifically Crunchbang (a Debian distro if you don't know). That's one of my favorite flavors of Linux. RE: Favorite Operating System - Kizaru - 08-27-2014 (08-27-2014, 06:29 AM)Equinox Wrote: Linux master race.
