More Sword Art Online? - Oni - 07-07-2013 Personally, I know I've gotten a lot of people into anime simply by showing them Sword Art Online. While many people debate whether or not it's plot/story is worthy of the attention it's gotten, I still believe people like it for a reason. Regardless, I saw a clip where the director/novelist of the SAO were answering questions. As you can see, both of them would love for it to continue, but Ito appears to have his hands full already. Do you guys think they will make an adaptation of the next arc? I have only read the first light novel (from the Aincrad arc), but I've looked at a couple of spoilers on accident. Hopefully SAO will continue on, because I really want to see it visually.
RE: More Sword Art Online? - Finesse - 07-07-2013 I'd love to see them continue on with it. I've only just finished the Aincrad arc in the anime but a good friend of mine read the manga series and she's hooked. However as good as the books may be, I don't think printed source could match those vivid fight scenes. I look forward to watching the next arc and finding out what happens, but I'd really like for something to be there when I finish. However, the character's feelings and thoughts are more vivid in print. The fight scenes are for show and were open to interpretation, the thoughts and emotion weren't. I would say the light novels are pretty good and there's definitely something to be gained from them. RE: More Sword Art Online? - EmmDude99 - 07-07-2013 Pardon my spanish, but Me gusta el juego Now pardon my french, but fuck anime. I just don't get anime. This ^ I don't see why you should bash something in a thread not even asking your opinion on it. That's the equivalent of me going up to some comic convention and calling everyone virgins, yeah, maybe it's true, maybe it's not, but you are fucking outnumbered. You have to explore and figure out which anime you like. You can't just watch a series and hate anime overall. Anyways, what do you guys think about another season (or arc)? RE: More Sword Art Online? - Zach - 07-10-2013 I personally hope it continues on as well. The storyline was great and the animation was phenomenal. |
