Hello all,
I've got some hell shitty news. I just contacted my uni(Deakin) and so, they stated that they started on the 9th of this month but, I've been told the 20th.
So, I've got fucked there. I'm 5 weeks behind because, no phone call was done so, if I was dead, messages would of been coming through flooding my emails. I've just got my arse enrolled since, complications occurred so, I may be not as active till I get this work load over and done with. It many only take a couple of days. I'll try keep my activity going.
With my other uni, they just started today and currently at the library doing my work. Here is the thing thou, deakin was also running over the holidays which isn't right considering, the purpose of the holidays is to have a break and take a flight to another country or so.
Also, don't think my staff application is gonna hold me down. Although I'm 5 weeks behind because of a stupid situation + have an exam from another uni(Studying at 2 different uni's and about to leave 1) to do in 2 days. While doing this uni mess, I'll still archive what I've worked for even since I've started becoming a member here. Oni, that spot is mine
heheAs of right now, I'm just reviewing the work load and will be back on schedule shortly.
For those that are interested in knowing what I'm studying; (Academic Integrity, Introduction to Crime and Criminal Justice, Safety Induction Program, Data and Information Management & I should be doing 1 more but, doing a CPL).

If you were misinformed, It's not very profession on Deakin's part.

So It was the Deakin representative via live chat who Informed you of the starting date of July 9?
Yeah. Before all this happened, I asked them about the CPL and when do I start.
My account was "INACTIVE" while classes were going when I should have received that call to update on what was happening.
The "INACTIVE" pretty much stated that, I've enrolled but, I had to wait for my classes to start but, was 2 late. Hence why I asked them on the update.
I honestly need a temp-ban on my account because, SL forums are 2 fun to jump on and distracting lmao.

That is one serious disaster. Did you not check the official calendar? Some times I feel like this would happen to me as well so I always double check the school's academic calender.

I was more expecting an email stating "Hello name, deakin will be starting on 9th of july" or something like that.
I checked my emails this morning and nothing seems to appear like that. Just emails coming from my teacher yelling at me to complete the work given which was completed an hour ago.

Your teachers yell at you for not completing work? Over here everyone does their own thing and is responsible for their own learning. But yeah I don't even bother checking my emails hah, only for very specific stuff like when I'm emailing someone.

It's a huge mess and can be a case of "He said, she said".
Rather than wasting further time on what happened (to no avail), focus on what needs to happen- and that's getting yourself on track and up-to-date with your studies. As much as I love chatting with you around the forums, let me know If you want a temporary ban and the time frame. Do organize yourself first, though.

I was thinking about getting a temp-ban but, since I'm doing SQL, I could just post my questions and get the assistance which can be a pro.
