For what program... You need to be way more specific
I agree with Ender here. A configuration file doesn't do a whole lot, and in fact most software either doesn't use them at all or they are an optional feature. If you don't have anything in mind, then why not just use regular UNIX-style options? it would be easier and cheaper for you...

I agree with Ender here. A configuration file doesn't do a whole lot, and in fact most software either doesn't use them at all or they are an optional feature. If you don't have anything in mind, then why not just use regular UNIX-style options? it would be easier and cheaper for you...

Not that I've ever seen. This is, unless you're still on the early side of entry level and rely solely on someone else's code.
