Post Requirements - Oni - 12-28-2017
Would people be in favor of setting requirements to view/use specific sections?
Currently we require posts for a few sections that are prone to leeching (i.e. Giveaways/Accounts). I'd be open to making requirements for the Social Engineering and Market sections.

Definitely in favor of this, especially with the spike of one off accounts crashing in the SE subforum like you mentioned. It's starting to get a little ridiculous.

I have an suggestion, don't know how hard it would be to implement, and if it is practical.
What if to be able to read some of those sections (SE is the one that is most relevant), you would have to contribute with a valuable post in that section, or have a good amount of posts. This way, we can still get good SEers that might not be able to contribute in a meaningful way in other sections of the forum.

This sounds like an awesome idea. It would certainly help control the sudden stream of SE LQ posts. Also, it could be useful to prevent some of the gravedigging issues for those people who sign up to make one post on a 3 year old thread saying something like "links don't work".
