Need to upload a large file online, any recommended websites? - Poseidon7 - 12-07-2017

I need to upload a rather large file online its about 60gb and I am having a hard time looking for software or websites to upload this file is an iso of a game, and it needs to be accessible by other people like for example when you upload anything on Mediafire, etc...

I'd appreciate any recommendations. oh and they need to be free.

Hey Poseidon7,

You have many options but its just that its gonna cost you a few bucks (eg, Mediafire,DropBox,GoogleDrive etc ...) to get the best quality of services ...
but there are a few free options, You could setup a FTP Server (Its a bit Old school/outdated) but still can get the job done ...

i also found this website (https://send-anywhere.com/) you can check it out ... i also have provide some info about it below ...

Send Anywhere is available for just about every platform you can think of, and can transfer files up to 1TB completely free.

The file sharing service is available as a web app at www.send-anywhere.com , as a browser extension for Chrome, as a mobile app for Android and iOS, and as downloadable software for Windows and macOS.

There are also versions for Linux and Amazon Kindle, plus plugins for WordPress and Outlook.

The browser widget lets you share files up to 4GB, but the desktop software supports files up to 1TB. That should be more than enough for all but the largest HD video files.

i hope it works out ...

I believe the OP Is after a site that can accommodate a single file upload of 60GB.

I haven't come across any free service which allows that sort of capacity.

Oh!!! i see, that's gonna be challenging for him, cause i can't find nothing either other than the info i have provided ...
but if he really want the file uploaded he have to spend a few bucks ($10 - $20) that's the best case scenario for right now ...

In all my years of computing, I've yet to come across a file sharing site (on a free account) that can accommodate a 60GB single file upload.

Within the next day, I'm going to do an In depth search and see what's available for free registered account holders. I'm not working tomorrow, so I'll have the time to do so.

That said, I'm not too confident on a preferred outcome but who knows, there may be a service offering what you're after.

I'm sure there might be a way to get an extra 10GB on a Mega.nz account for free. I would suggest using them though. At one point, my dad got a chromebook, and when you buy one, you can apply it to your google drive, and get 100GB for free.

The problem being, the OP needs a "single file upload" of 60GB and not the actual storage space of that amount or more.
