Have you ever been stung before? - Synthx - 09-26-2017
So, last night September 26, 2017 I got stung for the first time, and lucky me, it just had to be a pretty big wasp. For 17 damn years I was able to keep away from being stung by anything. So, my dads truck broke down last week, and we had to get a rental. He had one of his friends over last night trying to help fix it because he has more tools than my dad does, we were loading the truck up onto a trailer so we could take it to my dads friends house. I was holding a winch controller in my hand, and something flew onto the back of my neck, I went to grab it to throw it off, well, little did I know that it was a pretty big sized wasp. It was in between my right index finger and my middle finger. Its stinger was on the right side of my middle finger, and you can tell what happened next, it stung me. I dropped the winch controller, and threw my hand downward really fast, and started wiping my hand on my shirt really quickly to get the stinger out, I never actually saw the stinger, I just felt it sting me. It didnt hurt too bad, but it throbbed for about 5 minutes after. Have you ever been stung my anything whether it be a wasp or bee, or whatever else stings? Tell your story below!

Im allergic to wasp stings got stung when I was younger and my face blew up lol I couldnt see for like 2 hours

When I was around 4 or 5 I was out in our backyard helping my father rake leaves and then a bee (luckily not a wasp) landed on my arm, and at the time I didnt know much about the little guys so I did what any young kid would do, smack it of course. And I also did something else a child would do, cry after getting stung. Wasnt very fun. I remember going inside and my mother putting an ice pack on my arm for a while. At least I wasnt allergic like Mesa :/

I have been stung and bitten by all sorts of things, bees, wasps, snakes, ants, spiders, hell even plants, but I grew up in Florida where this is the norm. Unless you are allergic though most of the shit heals up pretty quickly.

I've gotten stung be bees, and bitten by spiders and ants. I'm not allergic to any of these, (actually, I might be slightly allergic to bees) so I was fine. However, my brother is allergic to bees and wasps.

I also got stung by a wasp many years ago whilst at work.
Of all places, It stung me on the back of my neck and It hurt pretty badly. Luckily my friend took out the stinger (I couldn't see It), and the pain subsided. I must say, the pain was quite Intense. That was the first and only time I've been stung.

I've been stung by a wasp multiple times.
The most recent one is when I was eating potato chips and coding, a wasp was on a chip and I got stung in the lip, my lip was swolen and it felt awfull

I've been stung by wasps multiple times... I have also been stung by a centipede two times both in my sleep.

Not fun things to get stung by, but I suppose you're lucky it wasn't a yellowjacket/yellowjacket swarm that got you.
I've been pretty lucky but I'm not sure for how much longer that will last.

When I was young I got stung on the top of my head by a wasp. Besides that, I was mowing the lawn of my mother's house (she had just moved there, back yard was exceptionally overgrown), managed to mow over a beehive that was apparently in the ground, got swarmed and stung all up my legs to my back. Needless to say, did not continue mowing until she got them exterminated.
Also when I was little I lived in Louisiana, and accidentally sat in a fire ant colony.
Spiders bite me all the time, but where I live they aren't terribly venomous unless you're in the countryside.
My oldest younger brother, however, had shit luck. When I got stung by the wasp, he did too by another one, and once when we were in middle school he got stung on the eye by a bee that came out after he accidentally ran his bike into a basketball post in the driveway.
