Working Crackers for Linux? - h4shcr4ck - 05-21-2017

I totally switched a year ago from Windows to Linux and also was fully away from the Cracking Scene, now i'm back at all but don't got any knowledge anymore about Tools for Linux (Since i used Windows before, i remember Sentry for example, but is there an Linux Port?). Maybe someone is also using Linux and got some nice Tools over so i can provide new Stuff to the Community since i've got already new unique selfmade UserTongueass lists.

One and Only Checker i've got so far is the Webbased Netflix Checker for Linux.

I suggest investing in an RDP then you can just run Windows tools on it . There are lots of RDPs that allow cracking.

Alternatively, simply Install a VM on the Linux box with (obviously) the Windows OS.

For the OP's purpose and objective, a virtual platform will suffice.

Normally this would fit all my problems, that's right, the next problem is - my Laptop is kinda old and slow, my Desktop Computer need to be fixed so no VM Solution for me.

@h4shcr4ck I have Windows 7 running in a VM with just 2GB and a single core. Optimize the OS a bit and it runs perfectly. Don't you have a PC with at least 4GB of ram?

I've just viewed your specs and you're right, the VM will struggle on the Host OS.

Another option would be to dual-boot and run the Windows OS on the physical machine. You can customize the OS by removing unwanted components (vLite does the job well) leaving only the bare necessities, thereby It'll be light on system resources.

At least i found an Linux Fixed Version of Sentry which seems to works, tested it with an Proxyless Netflix Config and it worked. Hopefully the Proxy Support also works with Wine, next step is trying to get some Proxy's and an actual Config for something..

If it doesn't work I can PM you good RDP sources.

I am interested in this Linux version of Sentry, mind sharing?
