I found a new love - Tree - 04-21-2013
Okay so I recently completed the Silent Hill HD Collection and words cannot describe how amazing it was. After I finished Silent Hill 2 I fell in love with the series and had to start 3 as soon as possible. I feel that they mastered the art of survival horror in both games, there wasn't a time where I wasn't filled with suspense as I opened a door or entered a new area. The story is just as amazing as the gameplay, (I won't be going into detail because of spoiler reasons) I found myself reading all of the memos, diaries and notes scattered around the game where as in other games I would just skip or ignore. The only complaint I have with the two games is the final bosses. The boss themselves aren't bad at all, it's just the difficulty. I found myself beating both game's bosses with little to no effort put into them at all and that disappointed me a bit.
All in all Silent Hill HD Collection is now on my list of favourite games of all time and I can't wait to play other games in the series.

I haven't got much interest on the Silent Hill video game series at all myself to be honest, but that is good to know actually. I'm more of a Resident Evil type by the way.

After you made this thread I got msp and purchased the HD collection and so dar its great. At times I get stuck and have to youtube shit but other then that I love it.
Off topic: Have you ever got into the Devil May Cry series? If you like games like that I highly recommend it. The story is amazing.

I've always been more of a Resident Evil fan myself, but I have played a few of the SH games before and they were pretty good. Would be cool to play again

I'm a huge RE fan, but to be honest their games can not touch the Silent Hill series. I wish RE made better games :'(.
