Australian ISPs To Block TPB & Other Torrent Sites - mothered - 12-15-2016
Greetings everyone,
I've been a massive fan of The Pirate Bay since around 2004, and fully support their actions and beliefs pertaining to the so-called "copyright" content available via their gateway. As of earlier today, the Australian Federal Court has succeeded In ordering Australian ISPs to block access to The Pirate Bay, as well as other torrent websites. They obviously fail to realize just how easy an ISP block can be circumvented. Nice try, but It's Impact (for myself and the like/hackers) will have no effect whatsoever.

TOR is available for everyone so this doesn't effect people with knowledge of computers.

Rude Is an understatement. The sooner they realize the futility of trying to block access to torrents, the better they'll become In not making fools of themselves. No matter what measures, channels and avenues are exhausted, torrents will continue to flood the net.

If you want to download torrents at 10 Kbps, sure.
They blocked the site, not the entire torrent protocol. You can get the torrent hash and trackers from the site while using TOR, then use your normal connection to download the files.
