What is your goal? - yokai - 06-12-2016
People always ask boring questions such as; What is the meaning to life? or Is money worth the hassle? Now I want to ask a more subjective question. Exactly what is your goal in life? What is your personal goal to achieve? And why is it your goal? Saying what the goal is without stating a reason isn't much of an answer. So give a definite reason behind your goal, otherwise don't bother to reply to this thread.

well that is what i want to do in my life, i wanted that to become my goal because i love video games and i always wanted to make them since i was a kid.

Yes, I can understand that. But exactly why? Why chose that over something noble like saving the world from poverty or something selfish like amassing riches for your own good?

So i can make a lot of money, and i wouldn't keep it all to myself. I would definitely put it towards charity for lets say Ex. (Autism, all kinds of cancer,) anything related to being sick and dying.

So i can have a good life for me, my wife (i am married now) and my future kids and give them a life i never had growing up and then help others in need that keep dying from sickness, cause you need money for all these things and to live a perfect life.
What about you, what do you want to do in life ?

So in short, your noble cause is that you want to earn money for the sake of others? That is your goal in life, no?

I live to understand and observe. Understand the world, the people of this world and their views, at least as much of it as I can in the span of my life. Though while that is my goal in life, don't mistake me for someone who doesn't care for others. As I will always prioritise someone else over a chance to obtain knowledge.
