coding competition - Vi-Sion - 11-19-2016

Well the activity in the coding section is kind of low, i think it would be a good idea to make a coding competition, this might get life to these sections .
what do you guys think ? it's a good idea or none will participate in such competitions.

I like the Idea, but I'm not sure as to how many programmers exist on this board.

If the Interest Is generated with enough participants, I believe this'll work. From a long-term perspective, probably not so.

RE: coding competition - Vi-Sion - 11-19-2016

Well i think we have a small number of coders, at least the ones i know they code.
Even with few participants i think it'll be good to be done + i think if a competition is done and the problems aren't very hard it could be a good practice for new comers that are willing to learn coding .
One more point if it happens the problems could be solved in any possible language this way we could get the biggest number of participants.

Depending on what language and what the challenge is, I'm up for it.

RE: coding competition - Vi-Sion - 11-19-2016

Challenge could be in different difficulties, and any language will be allowed @Skryptec but this is still an idea .

Either C#, HTML, CSS or VB.NET, please.
I am very bad in other languages such as PHP.

we could do like a competition for best website design via codepen.io and in the websites we can link programs that we created ourselves and have competitions within those that would be cool

Same for me, I think you get the same subjects as me in school.

Host a contest so I can win.

RE: coding competition - Vi-Sion - 11-20-2016

@Skryptec @Bish0pQ i think you'll still be able to use c# to solve them , don't think there will be anything related to web development at least in this tournament .

@millionandbell this could work for challenges later, we first need to see how the first tournament will go.

@lux really hope i won't fail in hosting that tournament
