Something had to be done to resurrect the game, It has died significantly.
Almost all my friends no longer play It. Perhaps after seeing this, they'll have a change of heart.

Actually that's a good point. Once the novelty wore off I haven't heard about it from people since.

Yes at first, I thought It was only my group of friends and then realized It was widespread.

Part of me is not that surprised from what I've heard! It seems like the dev's didn't think long term interest! Maybe they assumed the initial popularity and novelty would carry the game them?
